7-Day Blog Entry 3
I have been working on my project for video class and trying to incorporate things we have seen in screenings. I wouldn't say that I am going to use technique after technique from what we saw but there is no doubt that it will have influenced it a little.

7-Day Blog Entry 2
Today I watched Days of Thunder for the third time in three weeks and realized that Tom Cruise only wins two races in the movie can crashes well over six times. I don't think this makes him successful as a driver. I also realized John C. Reilly was in this movie which interested me way more than Tom Cruises' crashing patterns. John C. Reilly was recently in the movie Talladaga Nights as a Nascar Driver. I think that it's Hilarious that he can be in a movie that is making a mockery of Days of Thunder.

7-Day Blog
Today is the start of our experimental 7 day blog Diary.
It was inspired by the films in todays class. The first film shown today by Renato Umali which was a construction diary he created of pictures of himself. Once a day he would snap a picture and over years he compiled a diary with a note on the bottom of each picture of what had happened that day that was most prominent or it could possible be a pop culture related event that took place.
The thing that interested me most about this piece were the amount of kids around me that said "I had that same idea." They all had the same idea but none of them executed or had the commitment to retain one like Renato had made. It's hard enough to shower everyday let add another item to my routine. I really enjoyed the work. A lot of pieces we see in class have a theme about Urban Decay. In this case it is almost like Human decay, and if not now, it will definitely be true if the project carries on until he dies.
The more than meets the eye video didn't catch my attention that much. Until the end that is, when it backs up and you can finally make out that it is indeed Donald Duck but only for a split second. As with many of the videos and films already this semester I have found that I come close to having seizures watching them with the amount of blinking.
