So this is: I thought that Michael Snow did something really different here. It might not have engaged me for the entirety of the piece but I understood right away what he was trying to do. It was amazing through just single words how effective little pauses could be in the piece. It was something I have never seen before and was a great example to me of what Experimental could be even though he doesn't like to be classified.
There There Square: Jackie Goss' piece immediately made me think "oh no, this looks horrible like an etch-a-sketch." As soon as I started reading her little facts I started understanding the piece and becoming more interested. I think she picked a perfect length for the piece and the fact that it was done digitally really caught my attention. I think that it could be done with more detail and better graphics but I don't think thats what she was going for. I think she achieved what she wanted and thats all one could ask for.
